Huadong Power Starts Commissioning & Delivery of Diesel Generator Sets for Uzbekistan Wind Farm Project

In early July 2026, Huadong Power commenced delivery of tower backup generator sets to Envision Energy’s wind farm project in Uzbekistan. The supplied units are model HDSC250FS-0.69F3, equipped with SDEC POWER diesel engines and Huadong alternators. To withstand the harsh climatic conditions at the Uzbekistan wind farm, these generator sets adopt a containerized design with a rated service life of 25 years.

Huadong Power deliver 2 units 50kW stand by genset with Cummins engine and Leroy Somer Alternator to Philippines

On July 1, 2026, two 50 kW generator sets manufactured by Yangzhou Huadong Power will be shipped to the Philippines as scheduled for deployment in a national-level demonstration microgrid project constructed by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on one of the country’s islands. Powered by Cummins 4BTA3.9-G2 engines and Leroy-Somer TAL-A42-H alternators, the units are equipped with Comap paralleling controllers. An ATS transfer switch cabinet enables interconnection and interlock coordination between the generator sets and solar energy storage systems. The Philippines is an archipelagic nation with countless islands. Integrated solar-diesel microgrid projects can significantly cut electricity expenses for island residents, and the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines plans to roll out such projects nationwide on a large scale.

China Three Gorges Corporation’s Yangjiang Qingzhou Phase 5, 6 and 7 Offshore Wind Power Project boasts a total installed capacity of 3 gigawatts, claiming six world records including the world’s offshore wind project with the largest power transmission capacity and the world’s offshore wind flexible DC transmission project of the highest voltage level. The supporting offshore converter stations for Qingzhou Phase 5 and 7, hailed as the “Heart of Offshore Wind”, rank as the world’s largest offshore converter stations, which were officially shipped on May 27, 2026. Against the harsh operating conditions of offshore converter stations featuring high equipment density, concentrated heat generation, as well as high salt fog and severe corrosion in marine environments, Huadong Power supplied customized standby diesel generator sets with high protection ratings for the project. Hua Dong Power delivered 32*600kW Container Diesel Genset to Saudi

On 12th May, 32 units 600 kW container diesel gesnet were delivered from Yang Zhou Hua Dong Power to Saudi. These gensets were specially customized for the projects in Saudi Arabia.The noise-reducing shell of the unit adopts the standard dimensions of a 20-foot container, which can be directly transported as a 20-foot container, thereby saving the shipping cost from China to Saudi Arabia. The core components of the unit are sourced from Weichai and Stanford.

Warmly Welcome Trade Master and Delegates from Quezelco II & DOE Philippines visit Hua Dong Power!

On January 7, 2026, delegations from Quezelco II , DOE Philippines visited and inspected the diesel generator production factory of East China Power. This visit was conducted to conduct research for the procurement of backup diesel generators for the black start of the micro-grid project on the Philippine islands. The first demonstration micro-grid project is scheduled to be completed and put into use by the end of 2026. After visiting the production workshop and test center of Huadong Power, the representatives highly praised the production and testing capabilities of Huadong Power. They signed a purchase contract with Huadong Power on the spot and expressed their intention to invite Huadong Power to deeply participate in the micro-grid project construction across the Philippines once the first demonstration project is qualified for acceptance. The diesel generators to be purchased this time consist of Cummins 4BTA3.9-G2, Leroy-Somer TAL-A42-H, Schneider NSX100 3P, and ComAp controllers. They can provide 50kw of power in case of grid failure.
