Hua Dong Power deliver 2 units 50kW stand by genset with Cummins engine and Leroy Somer Alternator to Philippines
On July 1, 2026, two 50 kW generator sets manufactured by Yangzhou Huadong Power will be shipped to the Philippines as scheduled for deployment in a national-level demonstration microgrid project constructed by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on one of the country’s islands. Powered by Cummins 4BTA3.9-G2 engines and Leroy-Somer TAL-A42-H alternators, the units are equipped with Comap paralleling controllers. An ATS transfer switch cabinet enables interconnection and interlock coordination between the generator sets and solar energy storage systems. The Philippines is an archipelagic nation with countless islands. Integrated solar-diesel microgrid projects can significantly cut electricity expenses for island residents, and the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines plans to roll out such projects nationwide on a large scale.
