Volvo Penta Engine is famous high end big power engine brand in the world, they provide reliable engines for the genset from HuaDong power more than 30 years. During the conference, Manufacturers of power generation units summarized the performance for the year 2025 and clarified the pricing policy for 2026.
Employees from various branches of Sinopec participated in the training organized by Hua Dong Power From September 2nd to 5th, 2025, part of employees from various branches of Sinopec participated in the training organized by Huadong Power on the maintenance of diesel generator sets. The training focused on the two brands of units, Volvo and Cummins. Huadong Power invited qualified engineers from Volvo and Cummins to conduct in-depth training for the employees of Sinopec, combining theoretical knowledge with practical operations. During the training period, the Sinopec employees discussed and explored in depth with the qualified engineers about the various problems they encountered during the operation and maintenance of diesel generator sets, and actively participated in the practical operation training and enthusiastically tried to solve many problems encountered in the previous maintenance work. All the Sinopec employees who participated in this training passed the final test assessment and achieved significant improvement in professional skills. This training was highly praised by Sinopec. HuaDong Power Get the Certification of Green Factory Management System On 1st Sep 2025, HuaDong Power get the Certifications of Green Factory Management System/Green Design Management System, and AAA Rating for their R&D capacities of genset industry. The Green Factory Management certification is compliance GB/T 36132-2018. The Green Design Management System certification is compliance GB/T 24256-2009 The AAA rating certification for R&D capacities of genset industry is compliance ISO/IEC FDIS 17025:2017 CTS Q/JQRZ-GF-102-2004-A standard.
In August 2025, Hua Dong Power was invited to attend the 2025 new product release meeting of MTU Engine from Rolls-Royce. During the conference, MTU presented their New 2000 series engines in China. The first batch of products is about to be delivered to customers, marking a key progress in Rolls-Royce’s localization strategy. The MTU New 2000 series engines are suitable for critical application scenarios such as data centers, industrial parks, power stations, leasing, and infrastructure’s primary and backup power supplies. They feature high power density, excellent fuel efficiency, and outstanding stability. The launch of this domestically produced new product will enrich the product choices for local customers and enhance the service capabilities in the critical power generation industry. At the launch ceremony of the new engine, Huadong Power, as the original equipment manufacturer of power, signed a cooperation agreement with Rolls-Royce Power Systems. This agreement will cover various application scenarios such as mobile power vehicles, power leasing, building backup power, and EPC projects.
