Huadong Power delivered 5 sets 1100kw diesel generator sets to Sinopec East China Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd.

In February 2021, Huadong Power delivered 5 1100kw diesel generator sets to Sinopec East China Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd. These generator sets will be used as the main power stations for Sinopec’s oil exploration and extraction projects around the world.

This batch of diesel generators is equipped with Cummins KTA50-G8 diesel engines, Stanford S7L1D-J4 generators and Deep Sea DSE7320 control systems.

Lubrication System: All moving parts are subject to forced lubrication; a large-capacity gear pump supplies pressure lubricating oil to lubricate and cool the bearings and cool the piston; an oil cooler, a full-flow filter, and a bypass filter ensure that the oil remains in good condition.

Fuel System: Cummins PT fuel system, optimized combustion, powerful power; STC step-by-step timing system ensures better combustion under all working conditions; a low-pressure fuel supply system, equipped with a fuel one-way circuit, is safe and reliable.

Cooling System: Gears and centrifugal water pumps are used for forced water cooling; a large-flow water channel design ensures good cooling effect; a screw-type water filter and special DCA additive can effectively control the acidity of the coolant, prevent rust and cavitation, and remove impurities.

Intake and Exhaust System: The efficient Holset exhaust turbocharger further improves combustion; pressure-type pulse exhaust pipes can fully utilize the exhaust energy to improve engine efficiency; air-cooled technology ensures better fuel economy and emissions.

The power factor of the drilling and power supply unit is usually within the range of 0.7-0.8, while the standard generator set is 0.8-0.9.

The optional integrated filter ensures that the drilling power supply unit can operate normally in harsh environmental conditions.

The insulation class is “H class +”, the design team has strengthened the original H class insulation system for the harsh environment and operating conditions of oil and gas fields. All wound components are made of specially developed materials and processed with special dip coating techniques, providing a guarantee for the operation of the generator in harsh environments of oil and gas fields. The specially developed resin-based materials provide high processing strength and mechanical strength for the coils and all rotating components.

DSE7320 Control System

It is currently compatible with VFD houses from Honghua, Zhongxing, Gemstone, etc.

Compatible with VFD house controllers Woodward 2500, DEIF AGC4 controller.

There are differences in the main control modes and usage habits, and the control details are slightly different.

The K50 series of the Chengkang adopts an electronic speed controller for the speed regulation system and can be directly controlled by the main control module of the VFD house.

The main control house BASLER DECS-100 type AVR board directly supplies excitation to the generator.
