In Dec 2025, HauDong Power proceed the Maintenance for the 5 sets 1,800 kw Diesel Genets for CHEC in Saudi, they were used in the engineering project in Saudi as the main power station for construction operations nearly 1 year. HuaDong Power has specially stationed maintenance engineers in Saudi Arabia for this project to carry out daily maintenance and regular maintenance of the project unit,and it’s time to proceed the 1st large-scale maintenance and repair, replacement of spare parts.
Diesel generator sets require regular maintenance to ensure the normal operation of the unit and extend the service life of the unit. Routine maintenance is the basis, check whether the fuel, oil, coolant are sufficient before and after each use, observe whether there are “three leaks” (water leakage, oil leakage, air leakage), and keep the equipment clean Regular maintenance is graded according to the operating time: every 100 hours the tension of the brushes, control box elements and V-belt should be checked, the filter should be cleaned and the oil should be changed; Change oil and filter every 500 hours or annually, check air filter and fuel filter; Every 1000-1500 hours or every year, three-level maintenance is required to inspect key components such as cylinders, pistons, and crankshafts. This batch of units is the main power of the project, so maintenance is more important.
