On Aug 12th，Huadong Power have conducted a critical 10‑hour uninterrupted 103% load test and successfully passed the FWT for the Thailand data center project—-2000 kW*(12+1) container gensets.
The unit under FWT is a standby diesel generator set for a data centre project in Thailand, with a rated power of 2000 kW. The buyer specified a 103‑% load test for 10‑hour duration. With witnesses from the end‑user, supervision consultant and EPC general contractor, Huadong Power successfully completed the full‑scope Factory Witness Test (FWT) for this batch of generator sets.
In addition to the load test, the end‑user required noise level to be less than 75 dB(A) @ 1 metre. Accordingly, Huadong Power implemented an ultra‑low‑noise design for the unit, which has also passed project acceptance.
